Rain Forests in Mexico are being Destroyed!!!

THERE IS A RAIN FOREST IN CHIAPAS, MEXICO, THAT COULD BE LOST FOREVER! Many people are hoping the Mexican government will help save the Montes Azules Biosphere Reserve , home of the Lacandón rain forest.

THE PREDICAMENT
The Mexican government is facing a dilemma (problem).

On the one hand, there are people making their living as farmers in the Montes Azules Biosphere Reserve. To do this, they have to destroy large areas of the rain forest for their farms. There are also companies that are present in the rain forest, destroying the environment by cutting trees for lumber.

On the other hand, there are people all over the world who use products that come from the rain forest, like plants, wood, food, etc.

WHAT TO DO?
The Mexican government wants to help its people survive in the Montes Azules Biosphere Reserve, but it wants to be in peace with the rest of the world too.

Should outsiders be allowed to use the rain forest? Who, how and why?
Should the rain forest be completely protected? How and why?
