My name is Nicky Musclow and I this is my seventh year at ASFM. I am really happy to be returning to the first grade team. They are an energetic group of professionals with fantastic students.

In previous years, I have worked as a Resource Teacher at ASFM in both 2nd and 3rd grade. After living in Monterrey for 5 years, my husband and I decided to move to London, where we lived for two years. I guess we got homesick for Monterrey and Mexico because we are back for more, with our two children Simon and Esmé. This is our second year back.

As a teacher, I am deeply committed to being an advocate for learners with special needs. I endeavor to instill a sense of awareness and independance in my students so that they can embrace their learning style and find ways to help themselves. I am regularly humbled by the extrordinary lengths our parent community will go to in order to help their children learn. And in my role as a Resource Teacher, I am only too happy to help parents and children meet their learning potential.

Don't forget to check out some of my new links. I will be adding more as the year goes on!
